Thank You & Year-End Review
We are grateful for all the families we were blessed to love and serve in 2023! In this JHP year-end review, we just want to take a moment to thank everyone for their love and support, and we appreciate you reading our blog! You all mean so much to us! We are also grateful for God’s guidance and strength; we couldn’t have done it without Him!
The True Reason for the Christmas Season
With all the lights, presents, and commotion surrounding Christmas, it can be difficult to remember the true reason for the season. The Bible explains that Jesus was placed in a manger because no rooms were available for Joseph and Mary in Bethlehem (Luke 2:7 NLT). Whenever I think about this, I can’t help but marvel at Jesus’ abundant love for everyone. He loves us all so much that He, the “…Lord of all lords and King of all kings…” humbled Himself to come down to earth and be with us, taking on the form of a helpless baby and lying in a lowly manger (Revelation 17:14 NLT). He did it for us all so He could cleanse us from our sins by later dying on the cross and rising from the dead, claiming victory over sin and death forever!
Always remember, Christmas is not about the presents; it is about His presence!
